Additional Fort Benning Spartan Photos

I wanted to post a few more photos of the Fort Benning Spartan event without overloading Facebook any more than I already have.  Tom Higgins was our contact with MWR and he took the following pictures.  He basically is the guy who coordinates everyone's application, orders, travel, accommodations, uniforms, and takes pictures...he is our support through the entire thing.  So thank you Tom for all of your work because without it we certainly would not have had the amazing weekend we did.

Women's Army OCR team at the starting line.  The lady next to us has nice abs but great abs don't get you to the finish line first, they just make you look really good when you cross it!

It was a smaller race so we were in front from the start.  It was great not having to run around anyone...that is, until the women's front-runners caught up to some of the slower men.  Then we were struggling to get around them on the muddy single-track.

Coming down the straight-away with only two more obstacles to the finish.  After 120 penalty burpees I had a minimal lead on Nicole.

Starting up the slip-wall.  This is an easy obstacle although some Spartans are faster than I going down the other side.

Post-race, very cold.
