We've since went about our lives. That's what we do as Americans. We continue on as strong as we can. We get back to normal lives and we aspire to bigger and better things.
But today I remember all the innocent lives we lost on that day and the families they left behind. An enormous sacrifice was made on 9-11. A great sacrifice was made in the days and weeks following by all of our first responders. And in the decade following the sacrifice has been made by our military.
Regardless of who we are as individuals, despite religious or political differences...a terrorist attack on our nation is serious business for all of us. I pray for our nation...to be one that rises together and is willing to make the small daily sacrifices necessary to lead a good path...to not take the easy way out...to go the extra mile necessary to see it through. We are and always have been in this together.
On this day I remember. May God bless our nation with comfort for today and wisdom for the future.
