I'm reminded as Christmas nears of how fortunate I am to be here. Many people are far from home in not so good conditions. Soldiers especially come to mind, but they are not the only ones. Someone shared the video below on Facebook and though I was not a gunner and never had to fire at the enemy, I know what a tough deployment is like from a little different standpoint. I just want to pray tonight for all the military who are overseas and going through the pains of a deployment. I thank you for your sacrifice and wish you home safely. I will pause many times this holiday to be grateful for all I have.
